Looking for a creative Valentine's Day gift idea? Show your neighborhood how much you care by giving a gift that will last for years to come! Contribute to the Highland Hills monument sign fund!
The broken lettering on the Highland Hills monument sign will be replaced with durable outdoor lettering and will essentially retain its current theme; black lettering with an aluminum background. Funds are being collected now. To contribute, you can donate to the Wells Fargo "Highland Hills" account, or drop a check off to Brett Brimhall, Doug Ybarra, Kristi Vick, or Jen Ballam. A nominal amount of $25.00 is suggested and we would like to have the funds available to begin work by the end of February. If additional funds remain, we will put them towards additional projects that the neighborhood votes on, such as: landscape lighting around the entry sign, shrubs around the equipment boxes on 11800 north, benches and trees around the tot playground, trees to block the view of the powerplant, etc. (suggestions are invited).
Our next project . . . 56 beautiful trees to be planted for Highland City's annual Arbor Day celebrations at no monetary cost! An Eagle Scout candidate will be looking for volunteers for several hours of planting help on May 1st. More information to come soon!
